How to merge PDFs
PDF merge combines multiple PDF files into a single document. You can reorder files or pages before generating the final output.
- 1. Open PDF Tools and choose Merge.
- 2. Upload two or more PDFs.
- 3. Reorder files/pages as needed.
- 4. Download the merged PDF.
How to split a PDF
Split separates a PDF into multiple outputs by page range or selected pages.
- Split by ranges (example: 1–3, 4–10).
- Split by selection (odd/even or custom selection).
How to compress a PDF
Compression reduces file size. Results depend on image content, embedded fonts, and PDF structure.
Tip: If quality drops too much, use a lighter compression level or reduce image resolution before uploading.
Converters
Convert between common formats depending on the tool you select. Popular conversions include PDF ↔ images and document formats.
PDF to JPG/PNG
Export pages as images for sharing or editing.
JPG/PNG to PDF
Combine images into one PDF document.
Document merge (mail merge)
Document merge generates personalised files from a template and a dataset (CSV/Excel).
- 1. Upload a template (DOCX/PDF).
- 2. Upload data (CSV/Excel).
- 3. Preview a sample output.
- 4. Generate outputs (ZIP or multiple downloads depending on your feature).
Placeholders
Use placeholders inside your template that match the column headers in your dataset.
Example: Put
{{customer_name}}
in your template and ensure your CSV/Excel includes a column header named customer_name.
Troubleshooting
Job fails or freezes
Try a smaller file, re-save the PDF, and check your plan limits. If it continues, contact support with the tool name and file size.
Output looks different
Some PDFs have unusual structures or fonts. Try “Print to PDF” and retry processing.
